Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Claire Grant. I’m a content marketer and stand-up comic (double threat) based in New York City. I spend all day writing words and all night saying them. Currently, I’m the content marketing manager at OpenStore. I also co-produce stand-up shows as part of Sour Grapes Comedy and Hot Mic Comedy.

I come from a family that plays Scrabble with a bone-chilling intensity. What I love about Scrabble is that it’s actually not just about showing off your vocabulary (though that certainly doesn’t hurt.) To win at Scrabble, you actually have to be pretty good at mental math too. Sometimes a two-letter word is worth so much more than a seven-letter word when you play it right.

I approach every writing project, professional or personal, like a game of Scrabble. The question I ask myself is: “How can I make the biggest impact possible with my words?”
